My very first overseas adventure was to Europe… back to the motherland England to perform Shakespeare at the Globe Theatre in London. It’s here that I caught the travel bug. What was meant to be a two week trip ended in me at the airport on the last day changing my ticket and heading off into the unknown. I spent three months travelling England, Ireland, Scotland and Paris, after that, I would never be the same. Travel was in my blood and I needed to experience as much of the world as I could!
I didn’t return to Europe for years later, travelling from Greece up to Italy and a road trip through Spain. I can’t wait to get back to see more.
European culture is the root of Western civilization, which traces its lineage back to ancient Greece and ancient Rome. A travellers dream, with so many different countries, cultures and landscapes within easy reach. Art, history, architecture, food and natural wonders… Europe has it all!
