The great white north of Canada is a dream destination for adventures. Eh! I was lucky enough to call it home for a year and fell in love with it’s warm, welcoming and super polite people, boundless wilderness and spectacular landscapes, thriving cities and charming small towns.

Despite Canada’s massive size, it is one of the world’s most sparsely populated countries. Maybe it’s all that space and those freezing winters that make it’s people so warm – a model multicultural country, welcoming immigrants and championing a “just society”. Canada is officially bilingual in English and French, reflecting the country’s history as ground once contested by two of Europe’s great powers.

A home away from home, I can’t wait to return to visit old friends and discover new adventures.
